DIY Wrist Corsage

Besides Hair flower wreath and wedding flower ball pew decor, I also intend to make my own wrist flower wreath. I dont know what is the proper way of calling this thing, but it sound something like that when i googled it. Wrist Flower Wreath, thats what the google showed me. I tried to make it as simple as possible. I made a sample and showed it to Darl and his fam, They gave me a positive feedback. So i decided to carry on with the plan. Anyway, like i mentioned before, its always about getting satisfaction and cutting costs. You heard me, Cut Cost!!! Hahhaha...You don't know how much you can save by doing it yourself. Believe me, it's a LOT!

Here's my sample..Just need to add something to tie it together later. I had soo much fun doing this. I'm gonna make extra of this to give it to my relatives and friends during the day. Maybe a little modification and i think its good to go.
Simpler is better!

Using white rose to match the flower girl's dress.

Just need some modification and add something at the edge to tie it together.

Two Lil Princess

Remember the post where i mentioned about making the flower wreath for my flower girls?

Yup!! I tried to make them wore it yesterday to see if it fits their head. Well, perfectly fit! I just need to add some ribbons at the back and its DONE! Tadaaaa...

DIY Earrings and Bracellet Holder

This is my DIY earring and bracelet holder that i made 2 days ago. I think it's kinda pretty and really helps to keep my jewellery in order. I can easily reach my jewellery since i hang it on the wall now. Very cheap and easy to make. Another way to a cut cost!!

Wow!!

I saw the pageview has reached 500 views. It means, it has been viewed 500 times. Hehehe...I can see the countdown to my wedding day is only 101 days left. Wow...It's getting nearer day by day. All kind of feeling surrounds me now. Right now, i'm trying my best to make whatever DIY decor that i can make. Yupp!!

DIY Flower Ball Pew Decor

I made my own Flower ball last nite. This is much easier than making the flower wreath. This one is very simple. You can just glue the flower straight to the round styrofoam. And tadaaaaa...

My DIY flower ball pew decor

Cute Ribbons for the flower balls.
This is just the sample i made....a trial and error before I tried to make the bigger ball. I will need to find flowers which suits my wedding theme later and I know the best place to find it!!!! KAISON here I come!

My DIY flower wreath for my flower girls

Yesterday, I decided to make my own hair flower wreath for my flower girls. I went to Kenjoy shop (situated at Megalong, 2nd floor-next to food court) to buy most of the things that i needed. I always go to this shop to find things for my DIY decor.

My 1st Glue Gun.

Things that I needed to make the flower wreath.
Since my ultimate goal is to cut cost for the wedding, this seems a very good option for me. Besides saving some RM$$ on the decor, i also get to satisfy myself playing with the flowers and etc. Believe me, its fun!! One Hair flower wreath costs around RM20 in the store, but if i do it myself, it only cost me less than RM5. That is a lot!!!

The flowers was bought during a big sale in Kaison last year. It only cost me around RM2.50 per stalk. I bought 5 stalks altogether. I'm still figuring out what i want to do with it until i get the idea of making the flower wreath on my own.
My DIY Flower Wreath.

There's a lot of thing that i intended to make in the future and I will share the photos taken later.

Family Outing

I wanted to post this for so long but, Im just lazy to do so. Me and Darl's family went outing few months ago at Borneo Paradise Kinarut. We went swimming and picnic-ing there. (They assume that we are the guests that stayed there). Leia and Lindsey were so happy that day!! Looking at their happy faces really makes the trip worth it. They played with the sand, learn to swim at the swimming pool, and even learn how to fly kite. Spending the quality time with family like this is all i ever wanted since i never have a good childhood memories.
Taking pictures to remember the moment!

Happy faces of Lindsey makes the trip more worth it.

Me and Darl
Darl has been soo supportive when it comes to spending quality time with family. He is looking forward to every chance of this. I wish he will stay the same after we got married. But, one thing for sure, both of us will try our best to be the best parents ever. And as for me, I'll try my best to be the best wife and mom to make the family happier!!

Pasar Besar KK

Me and Darl's family went to have brunch after his mum went back from church just now. After brunch, we headed straight to Pasar Besar KK. Yup...you heard me! PASAR!! Pasar Besar KK is a place that i have not visited for almost 10 years. It has not changed that much though, but somehow at this age, i think i should go to tis kind of place more often.

Fresh Veges.

Halal and Non Halal Section

Wide varieties of choices
For all this time, i never pay any attention to pasar since we have "tamu" which is more or less the same with pasar. The only difference is pasar is in the building whereas tamu is in the open space. But the main point is, Pasar Besar KK offers a wide variety of selection, and the price is reasonable too. All the things that i always buy from supermarket is also available here with a lower price.

Sometimes, the rapid growth of Supermarket/Mini Market or even Hypermarket makes us forget the existence of Pasar. Being here again with Darl's family, and while i was holding Montel's hand when we were looking for a nice spot to buy meatball just now, reminds me of my reaction when mum used to bring me to Pasar Besar KK when i was small. I was so eager to get out from there because i could not stand the smell of the Pasar. Now, i really miss those moments!!!

Satay Sabindo

It's been a while me and Darl have been craving for satay. My sis told me satay at Sabindo is superb! So, we went there last week around 8.00 pm, we didn't manage to fnd any satay. So, we went to Waterfront to have some super expensive Satay Kajang. All for only to satisfy the craving. Few days later, we went there again around 7.00 pm, the same case, the satay stall was already closed. So, we end up buying street burger instead.
This is the place! Kedai Kopi Bao Jin.

Yummy satay!

Lucky still got plenty of satay when we arrived.

Today is our 3rd time going to Sabindo for Satay quest, we went there around 5.30 pm. We manage to catch up with the fast selling satay in Sabindo. Only Rm 0.60 per stick. Yummy! Its really delicious. Like i said before you don't need to pay that much for yummy foods, just have to know where to find it!

Pre-Wedding Photo-shoot

Happy face!

Yesterday was really a tiring day for me and Darl. It's our Pre-wed photo-shoot day! We were looking forward to it. We were very excited about it, since the package we choose includes free family photo. Our Family gathers together at the Studio to take pictures with both of us. After the family photo shoot, we move to St. Aloysius Church, Limbanak to shoot for our outdoor photos. Then we went to Yes I Do studio at Teluk Villa, Putatan to shoot for the rest of the day, and one more outdoor shooting at the beach just right outside of the studio. It was very exciting though, with 7 outfits to wear for the photo-shoot. With 7 different hairstyle and make-up for each outfits, not to mention the posing for each different section and places indoor and outdoor of the studio.

I curi-curi snap gambar. Taken before we went to St. Aloysius Church for outdoor shooting.

We started shooting around 10.45am and ends at almost 7.00 pm. I requested sunset shooting and therefore needs to wait for a while for the sun to come down. I don't know how is the end product, but i'm very excited about it and can't wait for it to be ready! Well, i didn't do any diet before the pre-wed shooting, but what the heck la..as long as i'm still with someone who really loves me, stand by me during my good and bad weather, I still think that i'm one of the luckiest girl in the world! Thank you Darl!

Hehehe...at Waterfront. The stall is No 3, and its only RM 4  per plate, consist of 6 pcs pisang cheese. Hmmmm...its really good to be served with hot drinks during raining time.Wow...since nowdays it always rain, then i might crave for it again.

RuMah TerBaLik

Its been few months I went to Rumah Terbalik aka Up Side Down House. But still, i think i want to put in my blog, just so i can remember the Moment! I went there last February with Darl. We were so excited to see the Up Side Down house, 1st in South East Asia and 5th in the World. This makes me very proud to be a SABAHAN! Yup, you heard me...Proud to be a SABAHAN!

Me and Darl drive all the way from Penampang to Tamparuli just to be a part of the "So IN" event in that month. Many people were there queing up, waiting for their turns to go inside. The fee is RM 10. (Pay RM10 just to get inside the house and come out from the back door). But I dont mind paying for the experience.  Besides, its one of the way to spend time with Darl. Happy to see that he is  happy too! The trip inside the house last less than 10 minutes ( I think!!). But, anyway Congrats to the Sabahan Arkitek who has been pouring his effort into making Sabah a worldwide tourist attraction!

Foods Everywhere!

Yummy foods are everywhere. You don't need to pay so much for a delicious foods. Just have to know where to find it!
  • Tigris (Api-Api Centre, Block 5)

This is my Favorite place to hang out after work (Since its just at the back of my workplace). Well, Tigris is quite famous around Api-Api area. Sometimes, the service is quite slow, but the taste of their food seldom disappointing.
  • Kedai Kopi Wan Wan, Bundusan

The famous Tom Yam
I don't care what you say! This is the best tom yam ever! Some of my friends doesn't like to come here. But i still think that this place is superb. Whenever, i crave for Tom Yam, I exactly knew where i can satisfy my craving. Cheap price for a good food! Highly recommended!

Best Bahkuteh in Town

Yesterday, Tiff asked me to accompany her to find braised pork leg (with vinegar and ginger) aka "Chu Kiok". Well, we try to searched at Gaya Street (Heaven for Chinese Food)..and guess what? We couldn't find any shop selling Chu Kiok that nite. She was quite dissapointed, but i was happy. The deal earlier was, If we couldn't find Chu Kiok, then she will accompany me to my favorite Bahkuteh shop in Gaya Street. Yum Yum...

At last, we went to Kam Kee Bahkuteh. The shop is in the same row with the Affin Bank. Very easy to find one. Poor Tiff..since she doesn't eat Bahkuteh, she has to order steamed chicken for dinner (Its the only thing served in the shop others than Bahkuteh). Anyway, I was glad she like it! The dinner was great! (Good thing i get to eat what i want!). As for Tiff...don't stop looking for your Chu Kiok! Miahahhahaa...

Not so friendly weather...

As I passed Damai area this morning, i can see the dark clouds moving fast. I knew at that moment, it will rain when i reach KK area. All cars in the traffic move slowly (real slow) as a way to be careful, i guess. As I reached KK (in fornt of Karamunsing building), the heavy rain pours down and its almost impossible to see a thing. I switched on the lights to ensure other drivers noticed me. Well, I saw a car who drove beside my lane almost got into an accident. I was just so relieve that i arrived safe and sound to my workplace this morning.
Thank you Lord!

Drag Queen in Action!

Well, many of friends knew that i love playing with make-ups! I love painting my face to create a different look. And this time, I tend to colour myself into a darker colour which tends to create a lil bit like a drag queen look. Having the picture to be collaged is the best part! I love this application coz its very useful and its fun!

How do we look?

Everyone has their own cool things to do during their free time. Here's mine...

     It's Me ...Before and After...

Here's my sister..

How do i look?

Just for our entertainment!

One of my colleague is resigning and his last working day was on 29th May 2012. Just few days away from Aramaitiii. So, we decided to bring him out for dinner and we went to have steamboat at QQ Steamboat, Millenium Penampang. Only RM 25 per pax. Well, since having steamboat and grill is my fav, of course im one of the earliest to confirm. We end up having dinner at QQ with some other colleagues, almost 25 person showed up that night.

The steamboat was OK though, but the grill is a disaster. Well they informed me that u have to grill outside, (they dont provide grill at each table), but i never thought it could be so hard to grill and have fun in the same time. Me and Tiff spent lots of time moving here and there to grill our pork, and less time chit chatting with the others. And since the grill is outside, and the light is not enough, we end up mixing lots of things into our grilled pork. Hahaha..

After Dinner we went to Escape near the Goldenhill, Kepayan for Karaoke. Well, the place is quite nice but lots of customer came later after 10pm. We requested lots of songs but we got tired of waiting and decided to go home around 12am. There are some spoilers happen that night, but it still a great night for us! Can't wait for another steamboat end of this month at Beijing Open Air Steamboat! Beijing here we come!

What a hectic year!

Since i got engaged November last year, it has always been a very busy day ever since. Our wedding day is approaching (October), but i dont even know what type of preparation should i do? I try to have all the best action plan and execute it, but like always, financial situation is always an obligation. Huhu...but still have few months to go, still have time to continue all the hardwork. I just hope things will get better.

My life is much happier now, knowing that you always someone who loves and cares for you. I just don't want to lose any single moment to be happy now, life is too short to live in sadness. Well, i am happy now, and will always try to be HAPPY! Yay I'm getting married!
